Key things that were discussed:
  • After the inter-title in trailer, all characters wake up in different locations except one, with a mysterious voice addressing them.
  • Protagonist singing school anthem in background and singing over each scene
  • Trailer starts slow then fast paced editing will be used to build up the climax of the trailer
  • One character will wake up in a classroom by herself with a lesson plan on the board (lesson plan = clues to escape)
  • Will film scene of character tied up to a chair in Brescia next Wednesday (Wednesday 31st January 2018)
  • Location shots and head shots of cast to be taken on Thursday 25th January 2018
  • Next meeting - Kim & Kathrena = Tuesday 30th January 2018
  • General meeting - Wednesday 31st January 2018
  • Next meeting - Jayden & Kathrena = Thursday 1st February 2018

The trailer of the film "Till death do us part" conforms to typical psychological thrillers, as at the beginning of the trailer the narrative seems to be linear and then becomes non linear, emphasizing on the disruption of the equilibrium linking to Todorov's narrative theory. The trailer starts off with an establishing shot, giving the audience an insight into where all the action will be taking place in the movie and in other words the location and setting of the film. This then cuts to a shot of a man and woman which the audience assumes are a couple and are perhaps the main characters of the film.
